Toshoji Monastery abbot and head teacher Docho Roshi travels around the world to share practice based on the principles of traditional Soto zen monastic life.
Dharma - Sharing
Toshoji Global Monastery provides training materials virtually including instructional videos, the catalogue of Soryu journal, and in the future our translations of key Zen texts with commentaries by Docho Roshi.
Sangha - Community
Over 300 monastics from 41 countries have trained at Toshoji Monastery. This global Sangha shares true dharma with thousands of students across the world. We work to continually strengthen and more deeply connect the Toshoji Global community so that all beings may know Toshoji practice.
